Chi Fan for Charity (CFFC) is Beijing’s premiere charity dining event. Chi Fan for Charity’s innovative model takes the standard concept of a large gala charity dinner and throws it out the window. Instead, CFFC invites some of Beijing’s best restaurants to prepare a special menu accompanied by a selection wines that accompany the meal. Many of the tables are hosted by some of Beijing best known personalities, some by associations and others by groups of friends, and interested individuals can buy seats at these tables through the Chi Fan for Charity website. The per seat prices range from 500 RMB to 1,500 RMB, and tables seat between 10 to 20.
In 2010, CFFC brought together 32 of the very best restaurants in Beijing to donate tables for a city-wide charity dinner aimed at raising funds and awareness for local philanthropic causes. As part of the event, CFFC also arranged for noteworthy members of the community to host tables and invite other charitibly-minded individuals to their restaurant. The evening raised over 225,000RMB in direct support for the Dandelion School, Rural Women and Prevention Through Education.
Following the dinners, all guests are invited back to Hatsune’s Village location for an after party celebration and an opportunity to meet other diners. The after party activities include a raffle and silent auction which are a vital part of the fundraising activity. This special evening is now one of the premier culinary events in the city and in 2011 was voted by the readers of The Beijinger as Beijing’s 2010 Culinary Event of the Year.
Now in its’ third year, ChiFan for Charity Beijing is set for Saturday November 5th, 2011 and this years’ target is to raise 300,000 RMB for two worthwhile causes, as chosen by the supporters of this event through a recent survey; Bethel Foundation and New Hope Foundation.
克莱恩夫妇慈善晚宴（CFFC）是近几年来在北京举办的重要慈善活动之一。克莱恩夫妇把标准的大型慈善晚宴加以创新，给我们展现了一种全新的慈善活动模式。按照之前的惯例，今年的慈善晚宴仍将邀请北京最好的一些饭店参加，发挥其长项，为宾客提供各具特色的主食、菜肴和酒水。每桌主宾将由北京社会名流、协会团体或主持者的朋友担任。有兴趣参加本次慈善活动的团体或个人可从相关网站购票，每张票的票价从人民币500至1，500不等，每桌席位在10到20人之间。
2010年，共有三十二个北京最好的饭店为CFFC捐赠了慈善晚宴的宴席。CFFC还邀请了重要会员及其他一些热心慈善活动的个人来主持每桌的晚宴。去年的活动共募集了二十二万五千元人民币，所有善款直接用于支持北京蒲公英打工子弟中学、农家女项目和教育预防项目。
晚宴后，所有的宾客都将被邀请到位于三里屯的日本隐泉料理（Hatsune）再次欢聚，大家可以借此机会结识朋友、互相攀谈。作为余兴节目与募集资金的主要渠道，还将举办以竟拍和默拍方式进行的拍卖活动。对于北京的烹饪界来说，此次活动的意义也十分重要，去年的慈善晚宴就曾被北京人杂志评为烹饪界2010年年度盛事。
今年是北京CFFC慈善晚宴的第三年，本年度举办的时间定于2011年11月5日，星期六；募集资金的目标为人民币三十万元。根据本次慈善活动赞助人最近的调研结果与意愿，全部善款将用于支持教会基金和新希望基金。

This is the first year Chi Fan for Charity has come to Shanghai and we have already secured tables at the David Laris Group of Restaurants including 12 Chairs, Downstairs at URBN, The Fat Olive Sinan Mansions, Purple Onion, the Hatsune group of restaurants including Haiku, Kagen Teppanyaki, Sushi Inc. KEE Club, LA FINCA, Maya, Osteria, Café Sambal, Goga, The MEET, Blossoms, and Mr Willis to name a few.
Following the dinners, all guests are invited for an after party celebration and an opportunity to meet other diners. The after party activities include a raffle and silent auction which are a vital part of the fundraising activity.
The first annual Shanghai ChiFan for Charity is set for Saturday October 29th, 2011 and this years’ target is to raise 200,000 RMB for three worthwhile causes, as chosen by the organizing sponsor, Austen Morris Associates and inlcude, the Chi Heng Foundation, Compassion For Migrant Children and Heart to Heart Shanghai.
今年克莱恩夫妇主持的CFFC慈善晚宴还将首次在上海举办。在上海餐饮界享有盛誉的陆唯轩集团及其下属的多家饭店将参与本次活动。
晚宴后，所有的宾客都将被邀请参加余兴晚会，大家可以互相结识与攀谈。同时还将通过竟拍和默拍这一主要筹款方式来募集善款。
上海2011年年度慈善晚宴举办日期定于10月29号，星期六，募集资金目标为二十万元。所有善款将全部由活动组织与赞助方，Austen Morris Associates用于智行基金会、打工子弟爱心会和上海心连心等三个项目。
